The sitting room is set a few steps below the existing ground floor, bringing it closer to the exterior landscape and giving it a grander scale. The studio above is infused with filtered natural light and generous views of nature. A new deck and trellis stitch together new and old portions of the house and create a transition between interior and exterior spaces.
