LITTLE SPICY

This basement renovation project reconciled an awkward overlap between the primary entrance to the home and the family room. We broke a space off the family room to form a discrete entry that gives both spaces more definition and clarity of purpose, then borrowed space from the garage to create a properly sized laundry room and full bath. One side of the living space has a cozy nook and workstation to engage energetic kids in focused activities while the fireplace side promotes socializing and physical activity.
