This project converted an attic into a new primary suite where the homeowners can step away from the daily hustle and commotion of family life. We removed the existing, low ceilings to give the space more volume and added a skylight over the bed for natural light and star gazing. A skylit shower puts one in communion with the clouds each day. Low spaces under the roof slope are used for closets, mechanical equipment, and shelving, making the most of limited space.
